Resumo: | The objective was to reflect on the infection control policies related to health care in Brazil and the quality of nursing care in infection control from the theoretical perspective of Donabedian. This is a reflection based on the Health Care-Related Infection Control Policies in Brazil and on the theoretical Avedis Donabedian. The reflections point out that the infection control policies related to healthcare in Brazil and the quality of nursing care favor healthcare. It is concluded through the findings of the study on the quality of nursing care associated with the control of infections related to health care from the theoretical perspective of Avedis Donabedian that nurses are the main actor in the process of managing care in the IRAS and that government programs aimed at controlling and preventing these in force in Brazil preach the culture of safe assistance in health services. |

Esta es una reflexión basada en las Políticas de Control de Infecciones Relacionadas con el Cuidado de la Salud en Brasil y en el teórico Avedis Donabedian. Las reflexiones señalan que las políticas de control de infecciones relacionadas con la asistencia sanitaria en Brasil y la calidad de la atención de enfermería favorecen la asistencia sanitaria. Se concluye a través de los hallazgos del estudio sobre la calidad de la atención de enfermería asociada con el control de infecciones relacionadas con la atención de la salud desde la perspectiva teórica de Avedis Donabedian que las enfermeras son el actor principal en el proceso de gestión de la atención en el IRAS y que Los programas gubernamentales destinados a controlar y prevenir estos vigentes en Brasil predican la cultura de la asistencia segura en los servicios de salud.Objetivou-se refletir sobre as políticas de controle de infecções relacionadas à assistência à saúde no Brasil e a qualidade da assistência de enfermagem no controle das infecções sob a perspectiva teórica de Donabedian. Trata-se de uma reflexão fundamentada nas Políticas de Controle de Infecções Relacionadas à Assistência à Saúde no Brasil e no teórico Avedis Donabedian. As reflexões apontam que as políticas de controle de infecções relacionadas à assistência no Brasil e a qualidade da assistência de enfermagem favorecem o cuidado assistencial.
