Resumo: This paper investigates the relationship between technology and photography. The theoretical reference is based on the ideas by Vilém Flusser. With the discussion about the practice of portrait and the snapshot, we show the technical limitations and the problems that they bring to universe of technical images.

Problematiza-se a fotografia, considerando as ideias desenvolvidas por Vilém Flusser. Discute-se a práxis fotográfica a partir da pose, do instantâneo fotográfico e da fotografia expandida. Um breve panorama da fotografia é traçado para refletir as mudanças no entendimento acerca do que é a fotografia.
