Resumo: The construction of hydroelectric power plants causes social impacts, as it is necessary to reallocate riverine families for the implementation of the project. Therefore, the objective is to investigate this process, understanding the influence of the political culture in the decision-making of the citizens affected in the Uruguay River basin on the modalities of relocation. The protocol adopted is the quantitative one, presenting a descriptive analysis of the data of the Project “Evaluation of Results and Proposition of Model for the Elaboration of Programs for the Rehabilitation of the Population Affected by Hydroelectric Projects (2010-2014)”. The main results indicate that the variables participation, interpersonal trust and institutional impact on the option of the relocation modality.

Por isso, objetiva-se pesquisar esse processo, compreendendo a influência da cultura política na tomada de decisão dos cidadãos atingidos na bacia do Rio Uruguai sobre as modalidades de remanejamento. O protocolo adotado é o quantitativo, apresentando uma análise descritiva dos dados do Projeto “Avaliação dos Resultados e Proposição de Modelo de Elaboração de Programas de Remanejamento da População Atingida por Empreendimentos Hidrelétricos (2010-2014)”.
