Marks of the post-modern footballisation fan: the flâneur condition

Resumo: This article gives indicative of the behavior of young post-modern fans of football who has a relationship with the clubs and the idols of the sport mainly through the media vehicles. The aim of this preliminary study, which is expected to produce new jobs in the future, is to discuss how it is configured young soccer fan in contemporary times, in the face of globalizing processes, using as a basis the concept advocated by Giulianotti, in which he points out four distinct categories of fans: fanatic, follower, fan and flâneur. Our analysis focuses on the latter category, we believe it is the fastest growing among young people and it will mean changes in the football market in the coming decades. There are indications of changes in the behavior of the next generations of football fans.

O objetivo deste estudo preliminar, que deverá produzir novos trabalhos no futuro, é discutir como está configurado o jovem torcedor de futebol na contemporaneidade, diante dos processos globalizadores, utilizando como base o conceito defendido por Giulianotti no qual ele aponta quatro categorias distintas de torcedores: fanático, seguidor, fã e flâneur. Nossa análise se debruça sobre a última categoria, que acreditamos ser a mais crescente entre jovens e que implicará mudanças no mercado futebolístico nas próximas décadas.
