Resumo: The present article has as general objective to present the characteristics of the materials and didactic resources used by the students of Pedagogy courses in Distance Education in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The methodology used was scientifically supported in three distinct but complementary steps: bibliographic research, field research and data analysis. The relevance of this work is fostered by a research about the knowledge of the materials and didactic resources used by the studied public. Through this compilation, it can be noticed that although some materials are not pleasing these students, there is still a degree of satisfaction with what is used. It is also noted that these students consider the use of materials and didactic resources in their academic training and among them the materials that had the most indication of use were: Online assessment, discussion forum, downloading documents online, face-to-face assessment, downloads and video lessons.

A metodologia utilizada foi amparada cientificamente em três etapas distintas, porém complementares: pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa de campo e análise dos dados coletados. A relevância deste trabalho, se fomenta pela realização de uma pesquisa acerca do conhecimento dos materiais e recursos didáticos, utilizados pelo público estudado. Por meio deste compilado, pode-se perceber, que por mais que alguns materiais não estejam agradando estes alunos, ainda existe um grau de satisfação com o que é utilizado.
