WebQuest methodology in Mathematics classes in a Covid-19 pandemic context

Resumo: The teaching of Mathematics in the remote classroom scenario, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, has involved “arrangements” in teaching activities, from “how to teach” to “how to evaluate” student learning. This work is a qualitative research of exploratory type, which aimed to investigate how the use of the WebQuest methodology can help the mathematics teacher.  The results indicate, on the one hand, that using the WebQuest methodology contributes to the students' learning process. On the other hand, it allows students to communicate with the teacher and develops the ability to learn from investigation and collaboration with other students.

Este trabajo se trata de una investigación cualitativa de tipo exploratorio, que ha definido como objetivo investigar cómo el uso de la metodología WebQuest puede ayudar al profesor de Matemáticas. Los resultados indican, por un lado, que la utilización de la metodología WebQuest contribuye al proceso de aprendizaje de los alumnos. Por otro lado, permite la comunicación de los alumnos con el profesor y desarrolla la capacidad de aprendizaje a partir de la investigación y la colaboración con otros alumnos.O ensino de Matemática no cenário de aulas remotas, em virtude da pandemia da Covid-19, tem implicado em “arranjos” nos fazeres docentes, desde o “como ensinar” ao “como avaliar” as aprendizagens dos alunos. Este trabalho trata-se de uma investigação qualitativa do tipo exploratória, que definiu por objetivo investigar como o uso da metodologia WebQuest pode auxiliar o professor de Matemática.  Os resultados indicam, por um lado, que fazer uso da metodologia WebQuest contribui no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos.
