Profile analysis of future Mathematics teachers facing the implications of the Pandemic

Resumo: | The coronavirus pandemic caused the interruption of school periods and emergency remote teaching became a method adopted by institutions to continue school curricula. The topic generated debate regarding the preparation of teachers to work in this new format, bringing implications for the way of teaching and learning. In this sense, it is proposed to verify the profiles of future Mathematics teachers who are in initial training and for that, a questionnaire elaborated in Likert scale was applied. After factor analysis in PSPP software, the grouping was carried out, locating six profiles that show the good institutional support and the motivation to discuss Mathematics regardless of the teaching format. |

El tema generó debate sobre la preparación de los docentes para actuar en este nuevo formato, trayendo implicaciones para la forma de enseñar y aprender. En este sentido, se propone verificar los perfiles de los futuros profesores de Matemáticas que se encuentran en formación inicial y para ello se aplicó un cuestionario elaborado en escala Likert. Luego del análisis factorial en el software PSPP, se realizó la agrupación, localizándose seis perfiles que evidencian el buen apoyo institucional y la motivación para hablar de Matemáticas independientemente del formato de enseñanza.A pandemia do coronavírus causou a interrupção de períodos letivos e o ensino remoto emergencial tornou-se um método adotado por instituições para dar continuidade aos currículos escolares. O tema gerou debate quanto à preparação de docentes para atuar nesse novo formato, trazendo implicações para o modo de ensinar e aprender. Nesse sentido, propõe-se verificar os perfis de futuros professores de Matemática que estão em formação inicial; para tanto, foi aplicado um questionário elaborado em escala Likert.
