Presence of Entrepreneurial Skills in Productive and Oriented Microcredit Borrowers

The concept of microcredit was created by Yunus in 1976, and one of its premises is that the poor individual do not lack entrepreneurial skills to undertake, what you lack are resources. Another premise is that it is possible to ensure the compliance of microcredit borrowers without the traditional resources of guarantee used by banks. The purpose of this article is to determine whether the entrepreneurs who form the target group for oriented productive microcredit, created to allocate funds to low- income populations, possess the skills necessary for success in their venture. A quantitative research was conducted with questionnaires next to oriented productive microcredit borrowers of the city of Campo Limpo Paulista. As a result, it was concluded that microcredit borrowers have deficiencies in some competencies, which can compromise the success of your venture.
