Resumo: The professor at Paraná Western State University (UNIOESTE), Moacir Piffer, are celebrating 40 years of professorship. To solemnize the date, the Informe GEPEC Journal to make a reportage about the professor, approaching aspects of our university teaching career, the implantation of the regional science and the ramifications in the Toledo campus, their opinion about university teaching career and the tribute received by the Congress of Brazilian Society about Economy, Management and Rural Sociology (Sober). More than this, this text does more human side of Piffer, redeeming a memory about the beginning of the College of Human Science Arnaldo Busato (Facitol), the predecessor of Toledo campus of Unioeste.

Para celebrar la fecha, la Revista Informe GEPEC produjo un perfil sobre el profesor, donde aborda aspectos de su carrera como profesor de educación superior, la implantación de la Ciencia Regional y sus ramificaciones, la visión de Piffer sobre la enseñanza y el honor recibido como nombre de premio por el Congreso de la Sociedad Brasileña de Economía, Administración e Sociología Rural (Sober). Más allá de la carrera, el texto aborda un lado más humano de Piffer, rescatando recuerdos desde el inicio de la carrera en la antigua Facultad de Humanidades Arnaldo Busato (Facitol), antecesor de Unioeste.O professor da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE), Moacir Piffer, completa 40 anos de cátedra. Para celebrar a data, a Revista Informe GEPEC produziu um perfil sobre o professor, abordando aspectos de sua carreira como docente do ensino superior, a implantação dos estudos em Ciência Regional e seus desdobramentos, a visão de Piffer sobre a docência e a homenagem recebida como nome de prêmio pelo Congresso da Sociedade Brasileira de Economia, Administração e Sociologia Rural (Sober).
