RELIGIOUS RACISM IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: RECENT APPROACHES IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION

Resumo: | This work aims to investigate how recent research in education has approached religious diversity in elementary school. A systematic review of the literature was carried out, of articles published in the SCIELO and BASE databases, from 2017 to 2021. The seven resulting articles were analyzed from two categories: 1) the identification of situations of religious racism; 2) strategies to combat religious racism. Phenomena that drive religious racism in elementary school were mentioned, as the neo-pentecostal advance, poor teacher training and the habit of Christian teachers to mark pedagogical phenomena by their subjective religious values. A significant part of the studies points to the need to educate in order to understand differences as something that constitutes human cultural heritage. |

Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura, de artículos publicados en las bases de datos SCIELO y BASE, de 2017 a 2021. Los siete artículos resultantes fueron analizados a partir de dos categorías: 1) la identificación de situaciones de racismo religioso; 2) estrategias de lucha contra el racismo religioso. Se mencionaron fenómenos que promueven el racismo religioso en la educación básica, como el avance neopentecostal, la pobre formación docente y la costumbre de los maestros cristianos de marcar los fenómenos pedagógicos por sus valores religiosos subjetivos. Una parte significativa de los estudios apunta a la necesidad de educar para comprender las diferencias como algo que constituye el patrimonio cultural humano.Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar de que forma as recentes pesquisas na área da educação têm abordado a diversidade religiosa no ensino fundamental. Para tal, realizou-se uma revisão sistemática de artigos publicados nas bases de dados SCIELO e BASE, nos anos de 2017 a 2021. Foram analisados sete artigos a partir de duas categorias: 1) a identificação de situações de racismo religioso; 2) estratégias de contraponto ao racismo religioso. Foram citados fenômenos que impelem à abordagem do racismo religioso no ensino fundamental, como o avanço neopentecostal, a debilitada formação docente e o hábito do(a)s professore(a)s cristão(ã)s de balizar os fenômenos pedagógicos pelos seus valores religiosos subjetivos.
