Avaliação in vitro da infiltração apical dos cimentos endodônticos: MTA Fillapex, Endo-CPM-Sealer e Sealapex

The aim of this study was to evaluate the apical sealability of MTA Fillapex®, Endo-CPM-Sealer® e Sealapex®. Thirty-four (34) single root teeth freshly extracted were used. The teeth were submitted to radiographic evaluation to confirm the existence of a single and straight root canal. The crowns were sectioned and discarded. The root canals were instrumented using Protaper Universal and sodium hypochlorite as irrigant. The teeth were randomly divided in groups of 10 teeth each according to the sealer. Four more teeth were used as control. The root canals were filled using single cone technique and the sealers. The teeth were submitted to dye leakage using the Rhodamine B for 24 hours, using vaccum on the initial 15 minutes. The teeth were cut longitudinally and the leakage measured in a linear fashion from apex to crown. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey's tests. The results had shown that the Sealapex® was statistical similar to the MTA Fillapex®, and these had been superior to the Endo-CPM-Sealer
