Bullying e cyberbullying: uma análise dos fenômenos nas escolas públicas do grande Recife

Resumo: This study aims to analyze of the phenomenon of bullying and Cyberbullying in public schools in Recife. The interest in researching the topic arose from the experience of the master's student in lectures given on the risks of the Internet in public schools, the project aimed to guide young people on numerous relevant topics, among them, bullying and cyberbullying. The project has been developed since 2016, during the period it was possible to gain access to countless cases and reports of the phenomenon and consequents assaults at most diverse ways, contact with the suffering of young people coupled with apparent impotence in the face of the phenomenon, fostered the desire to modify the scenario, and led to the present research with which seeks to contribute to the confrontation of the phenomenon and to suggest possibilities of combat through diverse actions. The thematic choice is justified by the relevance of the research to the current social context since it is a growing phenomenon and difficult to contain and repair. Consequently, such a practice can cause countless damage in the youthful life, and perhaps in the adult life of the citizens. The advent of the Internet caused a period of rapid changes, breaking paradigms, converging on an unlimited amount of information, which, if misused, can cause innumerable inconveniences. The scope and impact of what is shared on the network is astonishing and surprising. Notably, the information society is challenging and worrying, especially for young people, as well as for schools that seek to succeed in combating the phenomena. The objective of the study is understanding the reality of the phenomena in public schools in Recife from the perspective of educators and school managers. This study analyzed the Brazilian legal system, thematic jurisprudence on the phenomena and conducted a semi-structured interview. The research is exploratory-descriptive, since it will not be restricted to only description, through semistructured interviews it will be verified the reach of the effects of bullying and cyberbullying, in this context, the research is qualitative. It seeks to understand the phenomena to assess their consequences to collaborate in combat. This work begins a path that leads to debate and dialogue, as it is not enough to suggest points for improvement, although the data have revealed which ones would be. It is necessary that the parents, school, and the State actively participate in influencing and collaborating to change the current scenario. This study was financed in part by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - Brasil (CAPES) - Finance Code 001.

O interesse em pesquisar sobre o tema surgiu a partir de experiência anterior da pesquisadora em palestras ministradas sobre os riscos da Internet em escolas públicas, o projeto tinha por objetivo orientar os jovens sobre inúmeros temas relevantes, dentre eles, bullying e cyberbullying e vem sendo desenvolvido desde 2016. Durante o período, foi possível obter acesso a inúmeros casos e relatos dos fenômenos e consequentes agressões das mais diversas formas. O contato com o sofrimento dos jovens aliado à aparente impotência diante do fenômeno fomentou o desejo de modificar o cenário apresentado, e levou à presente pesquisa, com a qual busca-se contribuir para o enfrentamento dos fenômenos. A escolha temática justifica-se pela pertinência da pesquisa para o atual contexto social, posto que, se trata de fenômenos crescentes e de difícil contenção e reparação. Por conseguinte, tal prática é capaz de causar inúmeros danos na vida juvenil, quiçá na vida adulta dos cidadãos. O advento da Internet ocasionou um período de mudanças velozes, quebra de paradigmas, convergindo em uma quantidade ilimitada de informações, que mal utilizadas podem causar inúmeros transtornos. O alcance e o impacto do que é compartilhado na rede causa espanto e surpreende. Notadamente a sociedade da informação é desafiadora e preocupante, em especial para os jovens, bem como para as escolas que desejam obter êxito no combate aos fenômenos. O objetivo do trabalho é compreender a realidade do fenômeno nas escolas públicas da grande Recife pela ótica dos educadores e gestores das escolas. O intuito é de entender e apresentar o panorama dos fenômenos a partir das entrevistas realizadas. A pesquisa apresentou, através de leis e decisões jurisprudenciais temáticas, o posicionamento do ordenamento jurídico acerca dos fenômenos. A metodologia da pesquisa é exploratória-descritiva, vez que, não ficará restrita à mera descrição, através da entrevista semiestruturada se verificará o alcance dos efeitos do bullying e do cyberbullying, nesse contexto, a pesquisa é qualitativa. Busca-se, compreender os fenômenos com vistas avaliar os seus desdobramentos a colaborar no combate. Neste trabalho inicia-se o caminho que leva ao debate e o diálogo acerca do tema, e que não pode parar por aqui. Por fim, não basta sugerir pontos de melhorias, embora os dados tenham revelados quais seriam eles. É necessário que pais, escola e Estado participem ativamente influenciando e colaborando para a mudança do atual cenário.
