Resumo: Environmental changes present in urban centers are the most experienced by the population and generate specific microclimates that can cause the thermal discomfort. This changes maybe caused mainly by the expansion of cities with use and occupation of the soil without planning. This research aimed to study the dynamics of the climate system of the city of Recife, from the analysis of the thermal field and its relations with the use and occupation of the soil. The present research aimed to study the dynamics of the urban climate system of the city of Recife, based on the analysis of the thermal field and its relationship with land use and occupation. The areas of study were Point 01 - ITEP, point 02 - Casa Amarela, point 03 - Campo Grande, point 04 - Boa Vista, point 05 - Boa Viagem and point 06 - UFRPE because they contain a built area and a reserve area of Atlantic forest. The methodology was conducted based on the following steps: survey of climatic data of the area; Hobo type sensor installation to collect the meteorological variables (temperature and relative air humidity) in the two climatic periods (dry and rainy) during 02 months in each period, with data collection frequency of 1h-1h; calculation of the level of thermal discomfort (RTD) which was based on the Thom index; thermal amplitude and heat island verification, which used P01 as a reference. With the results, the IDT for all monitored points ranged between partially uncomfortable and uncomfortable. With respect to the island of heat, the point with greater emphasis to the bairro da Boa Vista that had occurrence of heat island, with a maximum of 4.84°C, in the dry season and rainy seasons of maximum of 5.84°C. The neighborhoods that presented the most critical results regarding the high temperatures and heat island were P02 and P04. In addition, it is worth noting that these islands are even more expressive in the rainy season than in the dry season. The results demonstrate that Recife has clear evidence of the performance of the built environment in the spatial and temporal behavior of temperature in the municipality. The thermal field of the city of Recife is differentiated presenting some climatic changes, generating specific microclimates in the studied districts. However, building clusters do not have green spaces, which are required by law, to ease the feeling of thermal discomfort.

Submitted by Mario BC (mario@bc.ufrpe.br) on 2018-11-19T11:53:46Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Ana Paula Xavier de Gondra Bezerra.pdf: 3716176 bytes, checksum: f3f04763884c14f09f78582fbd571b51 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2018-11-19T11:53:46Z (GMT).
