Resumo: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the impact of age, motor impairment level, and gender in the quality of life of children with cerebral palsy.METHODS: The study involved 125 primary caregivers of children with CP with aged between 4 and 12 years. The participants answered the following questionnaires: the Child Health Questionnaire - caregivers version (CHQ - PF50), the Kidscreen-10 also for caregivers. For data analysis was conducted a statistical analysis. The normality of the data was performed using the Shapiro-Wilk Test. Student-T Test was used for independent groups in order to compare girls and boys groups. Pearson Correlation Test was performed to analyze the relationship between the domains of life quality, age and level of GMCFS.RESULTS: The domain family activities the quality of life questionnaire had the best score while health perception had the worst score; older children and boys have better quality of life. Children less motor impairment, caregivers showed worse quality of life.CONCLUSIONS: The development factors such as age, gender and motor impairment impacts on the quality of life of children with CP.
