Resumo: .The present report of Master Degree in Education, outlined in the line of Public Politics and management of education, approaches the Public Politics for the Children Education generated from 1987, to comprehend its implementation in the Municipal Schools in the City of Ponta Grossa in the period from 2000 to 2005. It is considered as Public Politic a program of action of a determined government, having as a goal the correction of social misfits, in this way the educational politics have common elements to other politics, but what distinguish them from the others are its historical and social peculiarities. The investigation used bibliographic and documental research, that were made available by the Ministry of Education and by the Municipal Department of Education, as well as, it searched the interlocution with renowed brazilian researchers in order to clarify the impacts of the theorical redefinitions linked to the study object. The route followed was: chapter I- it discusses the conceptions of children and childhood from the crossing of different views; chapter II- it refers and analyses the Public Politics for the first childhood in Brazil; chapter III- approaches the implantation of Public Politics for the Children Education in the City of Ponta Grossa, it is concluded that the Children Education in the Brazilian context is only crawling, and it is necessary to have significant Public Politics and solid resources in order to leverage with security and without stumbling

Considera-se como política pública um programa de ação de um determinado governo, tendo como meta a correção de desajuste social; nesse sentido as políticas educacionais possuem elementos comuns a outras políticas, mas o que as distinguem das demais são suas peculiaridades históricas e sociais. A investigação utilizou-se de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, disponibilizados pelo Ministério de Educação e pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação; bem como, buscou a interlocução com renomados pesquisadores brasileiros a fim de esclarecer os impactos das redefinições teóricas ligadas ao objeto do estudo.
