TOYROOM: PROVIDING REFLECTIONS UNDER THREE MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES

Resumo: This study gathers three different experiences about playing and toyroom,two branches of a master´s degree research of the researchers properly involved and aconsequential feature of a project held at a toyroom in a universitary hospital. The aim ofthis article is to intensify the importance of this place in several social contexts, as asocializing space and a potentializing agent of human abilities.The first experience willshow a study achieved with the children’s caretakers living in a hospital toyroom. Thesecond experience will show the implantation of a toyroom in a public school, discussingthe field political and social aspects, with negative results mainly as a socializing space. Andthe third experience will show the positive and negative results of the implantation of atoyroom in a cooperative settled by parents, addressed to children of all ages. After the introduction, a brief description about the constitution of the first toyrooms becomesrelevant to interact the readers with this article more intensively.

O objetivo deste artigo é intensificar a importância deste local em diversoscontextos sociais, como espaço socializador e potencializador de habilidades humanas. Aprimeira experiência mostrará um trabalho realizado com os cuidadores das criançasinternadas em uma brinquedoteca hospitalar, a segunda experiência descreverá aimplantação de uma brinquedoteca em uma escola pública de educação infantil, discutindofatores políticos e sociais da esfera, com resultados negativos principalmente como espaçosocializador e a terceira experiência descreverá resultados positivos e negativos daimplantação de uma brinquedoteca em uma escola cooperativa de pais, direcionada ascrianças de todas as idades.
