This project proposes to introduce and analyze the concession of the international airport of Florianópolis - SC, Hercílio Luz airport, from Infraero to the private initiative in the company Zurich Airport. The approach is given by an exploratory research carried out in the theoretical documentation and in a comparative analysis the Hercílio Luz airport in different management of its operation. Data collection was carried out in the Horus system of the National Civil Aviation Secretariat, on the Floripa Airport website, a channel created by the concessionaire for data transparency and in the feasibility studies for the concession auction and in the concession contract made available by the National Agency of Civil Aviation. The comparative analysis was carried out addressing the panels and infographics, as well as the data made available, evaluating the technical changes, improvements and constructions provided for in the contract to assess the quality of the service provided and maintain the demand for passengers and aircraft at the aeronautical site in question. In the case of Florianópolis, we can conclude that there was a great need to enter into a partnership with the private sector to expand the physical space, mainly for the expansion of the passenger terminal, making it possible to meet the growing demand for aircraft and passengers. Benefiting airport users in the city with infrastructure improvements and technical expansions to also serve other categories of aircraft. Influencing the perception of the quality of the service provided in at least 22 of the 30 indicators used by the National Civil Aviation Agency to assess the infrastructure and services provided by the operator in the concession of the airport.
