Resumo: This research aimed to understand the importance of SISCEAB - Brazilian Airspace Control System, as well as its evolution over the years, from its creation to the present day. It is characterized as an exploratory research with bibliographic and documentary procedure through books, articles, reports, regulations and laws. The approach used was qualitative and quantitative. The analysis of the data was done by means of graphs and tables, analyzed according to the theoretical basis. At the end of the research, it was concluded that, given the difficulties encountered by the System during its evolution, it resisted and is now a modern model of air space control. Its vital triad is seen with excellence in its operation: a fast, safe and orderly model.

Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa exploratória com procedimento bibliográfico e documental por meio de livros, artigos, reportagens, regulamentos e leis. A abordagem utilizada foi qualitativa e quantitativa. A análise dos dados foi feita por meio de gráficos e quadros, analisados de acordo com a fundamentação teórica. Ao finalizar a pesquisa, concluiu-se que por mais dificuldades que o Sistema encontrou durante sua evolução, o mesmo resistiu e é hoje um moderno modelo de controle do espaço aéreo.
