Resumo: The objective of this work was to carry out a bibliographic survey to establish a photographic protocol applied to Orofacial Harmonization, which is easy to perform and which is useful to the dental surgeon, and other professionals in the area, while respecting the basic principles of photography. Literature review: This is important, since digital photo is a technological resource that facilitates the registration of images of interest and has been widely used in dentistry. The images play an important role in the planning and monitoring of treatment, both by the professional and the patient, and also allows a comparative analysis of the phases of the procedure. In Orofacial Harmonization (HOF), photographic standardization is extremely important to observe the evolution and changes provided by the procedures performed. We conclude, then, that there is a need to establish a standardization for the photographic record in the HOF, so that this is a form of documentation that composes the patient's medical record and allows the use of images in a precise and objective way, allowing the analysis of the evolution of the treatments performed.

Revisión de la literatura: Esto es importante, ya que la fotografía digital es un recurso tecnológico que facilita el registro de imágenes de interés y ha sido ampliamente utilizado en odontología. Las imágenes juegan un papel importante en la planificación y seguimiento del tratamiento, tanto por parte del profesional como del paciente, y además permiten un análisis comparativo de las fases del procedimiento. En Armonización Orofacial (HOF), la estandarización fotográfica es de suma importancia para observar la evolución y cambios que brindan los procedimientos realizados. Concluimos, entonces, que existe la necesidad de establecer una estandarización para el registro fotográfico en el HOF, para que esta sea una forma de documentación que componga la historia clínica del paciente y permita el uso de imágenes de forma precisa y objetiva, permitiendo el análisis de la evolución de los tratamientos realizados.Objetivo deste trabalho foi fazer um levantamento bibliográfico para estabelecer um protocolo fotográfico aplicado à Harmonização Orofacial, de fácil execução e que seja útil ao cirurgião-dentista, e outros profissionais da área, porém respeitando os princípios básicos da fotografia. Revisão da literatura: Isso é importante, uma vez que, a foto digital é um recurso tecnológico que facilita o registro das imagens de interesse e tem sido bastante utilizada na odontologia. As imagens exercem um papel importante para o planejamento e para o acompanhamento do tratamento, tanto pelo profissional como pelo paciente, e ainda possibilita uma análise comparativa das fases do procedimento. Na Harmonização Orofacial (HOF), a padronização fotográfica é de extrema importância para se observar a evolução e mudanças proporcionadas pelos procedimentos realizados. Concluímos, então que há uma necessidade de se estabelecer uma normatização para o registro fotográfico na HOF, para que esta seja uma forma de documentação que componha o prontuário do paciente e possibilite a utilização das imagens de forma precisa e objetiva, permitindo a análise da evolução dos tratamentos realizados.Profa.
