Resumo: Thisresearchaboutthesurface design andhisinterrelationshipsisderivedfromthedevelopmentsof design, and it goesthrough a routewithhistorical scores, as wellas itscomunicationwiththeinhabitedspace. Fromthetextilespanelscreatedbythe designer Anne Kyyrö Quinn, thatelaborateswrapssurfaces, It happens the experience and experimentation of constructive solutions, through draping tecniques and sewing, that creates tridimensional modules. The designer has projective features that contribute at the potencialization of the enviromental perception which it appears. The investigation selected four structural proposals developed by this designer as the focus of this discussion, are they: Hoop, Leaf, Rosette and Tulip. In this research, this projects are observed, through the form described by Cardoso (2013), that contributes to the enlargement of the meanings of surface design. The practical experimentation of materials and procedures sought the understanding of the process and an approach to the study object.

A partir dos painéis têxteis criados pela designer Anne Kyyrö Quinn, que elabora uma superfície-envoltório, acontece a vivência e a experimentação de soluções construtivas por meio de técnicas de modelagem e costura, criando módulos tridimensionais. A designer possui recursos projetuais que contribuem para a potencialização da percepção do ambiente em que está inserido. A investigação selecionou quatro propostas estruturais desenvolvidas pela designer como enfoque da discussão. São elas: Hoop, Leaf, RosetteeTulip. Neste trabalho, esses projetos são observados segundo a forma descrita por Cardoso (2013), o que contribui para a ampliação dos significados do design de superfície.
