Resumo: With this article we aim to highlight aspects of the trajectory of educational studies until the creation of the Faculty of Education at USP and discuss the insertion of women in Brazilian higher education. For this purpose, we took as privileged sources the interviews carried out with two teachers who had their history of intellectual and teacher education linked to that unit, occupying a prominent role in the Brazilian educational field, as well as in teaching and management, since both occupied the position of college principals. Thus, through their memoirs, it was intended to retrieve a set of relevant information about the institutional history and how the experiences of these women-teachers were impacted by it.

Para ello, tomamos como fuentes privilegiadas las entrevistas realizadas a dos profesores que tenían su historia de formación intelectual y docente vinculada a esa unidad, ocupando un papel destacado en el campo educativo brasileño, así como en la docencia y la gestión, ya que tanto ocupó el puesto de directoras. Así, a través de sus memorias, se pretendía recuperar un conjunto de información relevante sobre la historia institucional y cómo las experiencias de estas maestras fueron impactadas por ella.Avec cet article, nous visons à mettre en évidence les aspects de la trajectoire des études pédagogiques jusqu'à la création de la Faculté d'Éducation à l'USP et à discuter de l'insertion des femmes dans l'enseignement supérieur brésilien. Pour ce faire, nous avons pris comme sources privilégiées les entretiens menés avec deux enseignants qui avaient leur histoire de formation intellectuelle et pédagogique liée à cette unité, occupant un rôle de premier plan dans le domaine éducatif brésilien, ainsi que dans l'enseignement et la gestion, car les deux occupé le poste de directrices. Ainsi, à travers leurs mémoires, il s'agissait de récupérer un ensemble d'informations pertinentes sur l'histoire institutionnelle et comment les expériences de ces enseignantes en ont été impactées.Com o presente artigo objetivamos evidenciar aspectos da trajetória dos estudos educacionais até a criação da Faculdade de Educação da USP e discutir a inserção das mulheres no ensino superior brasileiro. Para tanto, tomamos como fontes privilegiadas as entrevistas realizadas com duas professoras que tiveram sua história de formação intelectual e docente vinculadas à referida unidade ocupando papel de destaque no campo educacional brasileiro, bem como na docência e na gestão, uma vez que ambas ocuparam o cargo de diretoras da faculdade.
