Resumo: The white oat cultivar Brisasul was developed from the cross OR 2 x UPF 18 at the Centro de Genômica e Fitomelhoramento, Faculdade de Agronomia `Eliseu Maciel', Universidade Federal de Pelotas. The most important traits are high yield, low stature and high lodging resistance.
