Resumo: This paper presents an analysis of the process of social participation in the construction of Brazilian civil society, considering the social movements, NGOs and others forms of association through forums, popular plenaries and the counsels of public administration. As a result, it presents a discussion of the basic characteristics of a new social activism different from those of the NGOs. The paper shows a mapping of the current social mobilization in Brazil.

Como resultado apresenta-se, os tracos basicos de um novo associativismo demarcando-se diferencas no universo das ONGS.
