Resumo: Entrepreneurship to innovate opens new possibilities for applying knowledge acquired in academia for economic and social development in the country. For this, it is important that all actors in the ecosystem related to the Triple Helix of Innovation integrate to create an innovation environment with mechanisms thathelp and accelerate the sustainable development of Brazil. This commentary intends to disseminate relevant policies and initiatives from the public and private sectors for their dialogue with a view to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation; as well as contributing to the expansion of knowledge about the opportunities for the work of scientists in this context.
