Digital sketchbook: semiotic study of the aesthetic creative process of imagery information

Resumo: The study of semiotics is necessary for understanding and extracting information contained in images which is increasingly present in our day to day. To do so, and based on the semiotic foundations and methodologies of library for treatment and information retrieval, studied the creative and aesthetic process of image, analyzing its inclusion on the World Wide Web, through the establishment of the digital´s notebook of artist. Object of this research. The results revealed the occurrence of informational gains and losses arising from the change of language of the notebook of artist - from analog to digital - the conclusion is the importance of information professionals in effecting this change intersemiotic with the use of programs for image processing.

Para ello, y con base en los fundamentos semióticos y metodologías de la Biblioteconomía para el tratamiento y recuperación de la información, se estudió el proceso creativo-estético de las imágenes, analizando su inserción en la World Wide Web, a través de la creación del cuaderno de artista digital, objeto de esta investigación. Los resultados revelaron la ocurrencia de pérdidas y ganancias informacionales derivadas del cambio en el lenguaje del Cuaderno de Artista - de analógico a digital - lo que permite concluir por la importancia del profesional de la información en la efectivización de este cambio intersemiótico con el uso de programas de tratamiento de imagen.O estudo da semiótica faz-se necessário para o entendimento e a extração de informações contidas em imagens as quais se encontram cada vez mais presente em nosso dia-a-dia. Para tanto, e com base nos fundamentos semióticos e nas metodologias da Biblioteconomia para o tratamento e a recuperação da informação, estudou-se o processo criativo-estético de imagens, analisando-se sua inserção na World Wide Web, através da criação do caderno de artista digital, objeto dessa pesquisa.
