Spacing x stake size in black pepper in “terra roxa estruturada”

Resumo: The effect of spacing x stake size interaction was studied on black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) growing on "Terra Roxa Estruturada" in Prainha, Pará State, Brazil, on Awi climate condition. The experimental design was randomized block with four studied on the plots, 3.0 x 3.0 m; 3.0 x 2.5 m; 2.5 x 2.5 m; 2,5 x 2.0 m; 2.0 x 2.0 m and 2.0 m x 1.5 m. Two stake sizes were tested on the split plots: 2.5 m and 1.5 m above to soil. The cultural treatments were the usually utilized on growing region. It was mensured the black pepper yield expressed in t/ha. It was concluded that: The higher black pepper yield was observed in the interaction between state sire at 2.5 m above soil with 2.0 x 2.0 m spacing. This yield was 27% higher than the yield obtainned by the traditional method. For economic analysis it was utilized the quadratic function (Y = a + bx + cx2) and the best treatment presented one gain at Cz$ 341 .150,00/ha. The stake size at 1.5 m above soil gave higher yield on 2.0 x 1.5 m spacing and this treatment increases the yield in 19% in relation with traditional method. Through economic analysis it was observed that the utilization of 1.5 stake size decreases the gain in 4% when compared with the maxim economic efficience of 2.5 m stake sire.

O delineamento experimental foi de blocos ao acaso, com parcelas subdivididas com quatro repetições. Nas parcelas foram estudados os espaçamentos: 3,0 m x 3,0 m; 3,0 m x 2,5 m; 2,5 m x 2,5 m; 2,5 m x 2,0 m; 2,0 m 2,0 m; 2,0 m x 1,5 m. Nas subparcelas foram testados dois tamanhos de tutor 2,5 m e 1,5 m acima do solo. Foram efetuados os tratos culturais segundo o sistema de produção existente na região. Como parâmetro de avaliação foi considerado o rendimento de pimenta preta em t/ha. Os resultados mostram que o uso de tutor de 2,5 m acima do solo no espaçamento de 2,0 m x 2,0 m apresentou maior produtividade de pimenta preta, sendo 27% superior ao processo em uso pelo produtor. Para a análise económica foi utilizada uma função quadrática (Y= a + bx + cx2) e o tratamento que apresentou maior produtividade proporcionou um lucro de Cz$ 341.150,00/ha.
