Sanitary conditions of rice seed produced under foliar applications of fungicides

Resumo: A field experiment was conducted with the objective of determining the effectiveness of foliar applications of several fungicides on the sanitary conditions of the seeds. The treatments were: Captafol with Kasugamicina, (Kasugamicina + Phytalide) and (Kasugamicina + Phosdiphen); Kitazin with (Chlorotalonil + Methil Tiophanate). The evaluation was based on the data of severity of the attack of the disease on the leaves and panicles, and on the germination, health and weight of 100  seeds. All the treatments reduced rice blast incidence, increased the germination and weight of seeds, and controlled effectively common seed pathogens. The best results were obtained with the combination of the fungicide (Kasugamycin 1,4% + Phytalide 15%) + Captafol 47,9%, at the rates of 1 kg + 1ℓ/ha respectivelly.

Os tratamentos utilizados foram: mistura de Captafol com Kasugamicina, (Kasugamicina + Phytalide) e (Kasugamicina + Phosdiphen); Kitazin com (Chlorotalonil + Tiofanato Metílico). A avaliação foi baseada nos dados de severidade de ataque da doença nas folhas e panículas, germinação, sanidade e peso de 100 sementes. Todos os tratamentos reduziram a incidência de brusone, melhoraram a germinação e o peso de 100 sementes, assim como reduziram a população fúngica da semente de arroz.
