Resumo: Experiments were carried out with two rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars. An upland cultivar CNA 791041 and an irrigated cultivar IR 50 with the objective to evaluate the physiological parameters theirs when submitted to water stress. The itrigation treatments were the following: (1) soil at field capacity and soil subjected to rainfall only; (II) irrigation based on 100, 75, 50, 25 and 0% of maximum evapotranspiration at flowering stage (beginning in the flowering initiation up to fully completed). Irrigation started when soil water potential at treatment (100% ETm) was -0,010 to -0,015 MPa. Water deficits in the soil were ensured by the use of rain shelters. The results indicated that the parameters of growth analysis, showed close correlation with the levels of irrigation utilized, and periods in which they were applied, as well as with the plant architecture of each cultivar and its development characteristics

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraVieira, Ana Rita RodriguesSteinmetz, SilvioBrunini, Orivaldo2014-04-17info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/13521Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.25, n.6, jun. 1990; 897-904Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.25, n.6, jun. 1990; 897-9041678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/13521/7679info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2014-04-17T14:34:40Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/13521Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2014-04-17T14:34:40Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false
