Resumo: In order to study the seasonal incidence of larvae of Dictyocaulus viviparus in pastures, during the period of October 1980 until September 1982, a total of 46 tracer calves were necropsied, at the rate of two per month. The climate of the region allowed development and survival of larvae throughout the year but the greatest incidence occurred during winter, when the average of minimum temperature was 11°C. The most significant factor was low temperature. Larvae ingested in autumm caused the outbreak of infective larvae in pastures in winter.

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraFurlong, JohnNovas, José Carlos VilasFilho, João Batista Cardoso2014-04-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/16412Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.20, n.12, dez. 1985; 1409-1413Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.20, n.12, dez. 1985; 1409-14131678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/16412/10661info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2014-04-16T19:48:23Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/16412Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2014-04-16T19:48:23Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false
