Resumo: Six field trials were carried out in Minas Gerais State, Brazil, during the 1982/1983 planting season, with the objective of determining the efficiency of insecticides against Scrobipalpula absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae), recently related as attacking tomato plants in Brazil. The insecticide efficiency was evaluated through the observation of the attacked parts of the plant and the number of live and dead larvae. The most efficient insecticides were: permethrin, cartap, chlortiophos, triazophos and thiocyclam-hydrogenoxalate. Alternating permethrin and cartap was an efficient control measure. 'Gigante Kadá' was more resistant than 'Floradel'.

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraSouza, Júlio Cesar deReis, Paulo Rebelles2014-04-17info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/14760Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.21, n.4, abr. 1986; 343-354Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.21, n.4, abr. 1986; 343-3541678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/14760/8444info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2014-10-21T18:20:33Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/14760Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2014-10-21T18:20:33Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false
