Resumo: Abstract: Understanding the importance of minerals for beef cattle is a concern that each animal breeder and technician should have. Animals raised on pasture are likely to develop nutritional deficiencies that limit their performance and reduce cattle breeders´ profit. This short review presents some important information for the correct mineralization of beef cattle raised on pastures in the South Plateau of Santa Catarina.
