Processing course and quality control of human milk in the state of Amazonas for telehealth: a case study of the SUS BLH Network

Resumo: This study describes a teaching experience case study in the Brazilian Amazon. It examines the use of information and communication technologies in integrated telehealth centers in Rio de Janeiro and Manaus using Latour’s actor-network theory (ANT). The blended course provides opportunities for tacit knowledge exchange between the students and the researchers (technology experts) that support the SUS’s human milk banks. The results show that telehealth tools add learning opportunities to continuing education programs in health services.
