Resumo: The present study aimed to investigate the quality of the relationship with the coach-athlete (CAR) and the resilience of 64 paralympic athletics and swimming athletes. Parathletes were participants in the North / Northeast Athletics Stage 2017. Among them, 41 were male and 23 female, with an average age of 28.42 ± 11.32 years. As instruments, the Coach-Athlete Relationship Questionnaire (CART-Q)- athlete version and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) were used. Data analysis was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov, U Mann-Whitney tests and Spearman's correlation coefficient (p <0.05). The results showed a significant (p <0.05), positive and weak (r <0.40) correlation between the dimension of commitment to resilience (r = 0.35). It was concluded that gender, age and modality do not seem to be intervening factors in the quality of the RTA and in the resilience in Paralympic athletics and swimming athletes.

Os paratletas eram participantes da Etapa Norte/Nordeste de Atletismo 2017. Dentre eles, 41 eram do sexo masculino e 23 do sexo feminino, com média de idade de 28,42 ±11,32 anos. Como instrumentos foram utilizados o Questionário de Relacionamento Treinador-Atleta (CART-Q) - versão atleta e a Escala de Resiliência de Connor-Davidson (CD-RISC). A análise de dados foi realizada por meio dos testes de Kolmogorov-Smirnov, U de Mann-Whitney e o coeficiente de correlação de Spearman (p<0,05). Os resultados evidenciaram correlação significativa (p < 0,05), positiva e fraca (r < 0,40) da dimensão de comprometimento com a resiliência (r=0,35). Concluiu-se que o sexo, faixa etária e modalidade não parecem ser fatores intervenientes na qualidade do RTA e na resiliência em atletas paralímpicos de atletismo e natação.El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar la calidad de la relación con el entrenador-atleta (RTA) y la resistencia de 64 atletas paralímpicos de atletismo y natación. Los paratletas participaron en el North / Northeast Athletics Stage 2017. Entre ellos, 41 eran hombres y 23 mujeres, con una edad promedio de 28.42 ± 11.32 años. Como instrumentos, se utilizaron el Cuestionario de Relación Entrenador-Atleta (CART-Q) - versión atleta y la Escala de Resiliencia Connor-Davidson (CD-RISC). El análisis de los datos se realizó utilizando las pruebas de Kolmogorov-Smirnov, U Mann-Whitney y el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman (p <0.05). Los resultados mostraron una correlación significativa (p <0.05), positiva y débil (r <0.40) entre la dimensión del compromiso con la resiliencia (r = 0.35).
