Care in mental health: importance of reception in the health unit

Summary: This study aimed to identify the nursing reception of people with mental disorders in the Primary Care Network in the city of Joinville/SC. This is a qualitative approach research with nurses working in Basic Health Units. The analysis of the data presented two thematic categories: reception and its relation with the attendance to the people and the challenges in attendance. Professional preparation and the practice of activities in the health network were also addressed. It is concluded that the role of nurses in the management of people with mental disorders through therapeutic therapy and as an improvement in the care of mental suffering.

A análise dos dados trouxe duas categorias temáticas: acolhimento e sua relação com escuta qualificada às pessoas e os desafios no atendimento. Também abordou-se o preparo profissional e a prática de atividades em rede de saúde.
