Resumo: The present study analyzed, through theoretical methods, the importance of human rights in the educational formation of people of different cultures, so that these coexist in a harmonious way. This is because education, especially that aimed at clarifying the most basic rights of the human being, is a means of promoting respect for multiculturalism, encouraging individuals to be more tolerant, including for a multicultural dialogue. In order to do so, the definition of multiculturalism was explored to then present the main characteristics of the insertion of constitutional teaching and human rights in the most varied stages of Brazilian education. Finally, we explored the studies for the realization of a human rights education as an instrument for the construction of a multicultural dialogue.

In order to do so, the definition of multiculturalism was explored to then present the main characteristics of the insertion of constitutional teaching and human rights in the most varied stages of Brazilian education. Finally, we explored the studies for the realization of a human rights education as an instrument for the construction of a multicultural dialogue.O presente trabalho analisou, por meio do método hipotético-dedutivo, fundamentado em pesquisa e revisão bibliográfica, a importância dos direitos humanos na formação educacional das pessoas de diferentes culturas, para que estas coexistam de forma harmônica. Isso porque a educação, especialmente aquela direcionada ao esclarecimento dos direitos mais básicos do ser humano, é um meio de promover o respeito ao multiculturalismo, estimulando que os indivíduos sejam mais tolerantes, inclusive para um diálogo multicultural. Para tanto, explorou-se a definição de multiculturalismo para, em seguida, apresentar as principais características da inserção do ensino constitucional e dos direitos humanos nas mais variadas etapas da educação brasileira.
