MOVEMENT EXTENSION PROJECT: Physical Education in Early Childhood Education in Pandemic Times

Resumo: The general objective of this research was to describe and analyze the opportunities provided by the Movimenta Extension Project during remote activities with the knowledge of Physical Education in Early Childhood Education. In order to achieve this objective, Early Childhood Education teachers were invited to form a collaborative working group with academics from the Physical Education and Pedagogy courses at Furg. The activities of this group were developed from weekly online meetings through the google meet platform. The participants of this group, in addition to holding weekly meetings, produced a diary about the experiences provided by participating in the project. Research data were analyzed using the content analysis method. From the results, the following categories were arrived at: project actions, difficulties and surprises when developing remote activities and exchange of experiences between teachers and academics. These categories reinforce the importance of academic participation in project activities for their initial training, as well as the role of university extension in the relationship between university and school.

Para lograr este objetivo, se invitó a los maestros de Educación Infantil a formar un grupo de trabajo colaborativo con académicos de los cursos de Educación Física y Pedagogía en Furg. Las actividades de este grupo se desarrollaron a partir de reuniones online semanales a través de la plataforma google meet. Los participantes de este grupo, además de realizar reuniones semanales, elaboraron un diario sobre las experiencias brindadas al participar en el proyecto. Los datos de la investigación se analizaron utilizando el método de análisis de contenido. A partir de los resultados se llegó a las siguientes categorías: acciones del proyecto, dificultades y sorpresas al desarrollar actividades a distancia e intercambio de experiencias entre docentes y académicos. Estas categorías refuerzan la importancia de la participación académica en actividades de proyectos para su formación inicial, así como el papel de la extensión universitaria en la relación entre universidad y escuela.O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi de descrever e analisar as oportunidades proporcionadas pelo Projeto de Extensão Movimenta durante as atividades remotas com os conhecimentos da Educação Física na Educação Infantil. Para alcançar tal objetivo professores/as de Educação Infantil foram convidados/as a compor um grupo de trabalho colaborativo com acadêmicos/as dos cursos de Educação Física e Pedagogia da Furg. As atividades do referido grupo foram desenvolvidas a partir de encontros semanais on-line pela plataforma google meet. Os/as participantes desse grupo, além de realizarem reuniões semanais, produziram um diário sobre as experiências oportunizadas pela participação no projeto. Os dados da pesquisa foram analisados pelo método de análise de conteúdo. A partir dos resultados, chegou-se as seguintes categorias: ações do projeto, dificuldades e surpresas ao desenvolver as atividades remotas e troca de experiências entre professoras e acadêmicos/as.
