TEACHING COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE : A BIBLIOMETRIC STUDY

Resumo: | This research aimed to present the landscape of international scientific production on the Competitive Intelligence teaching. To this end, it was adopted as a method a bibliometric analysis of the entire production on the theme present in the Web of Science and Scopus databases. The results pointed to a relatively small production focused on the theme (after analyzing the title and summary of the 1784 publications identified through the search expression, only 31 dealt directly with the theme). On the other hand, it was observed that more than 90% of this production is concentrated in the last two decades, showing that although small, the production has been accelerating. In addition, other results obtained were the journals, authors and institutions with the largest number of publications on the Competitive Intelligence teaching and the countries that concentrate the largest number of authors of these publications. This multifaceted view of international production on the Competitive Intelligence teaching has a lot to contribute to educational institutions and teachers, as well as to researchers in the field, current and future, in addition to shedding light on a facet of Competitive Intelligence yet little studied but essential for the development of Intelligence worldwide. |

Para tanto, adotou-se como método a realização de uma análise bibliométrica de toda a produção sobre o tema presente nas bases Web of Science e Scopus. Os resultados apontam para uma produção relativamente pequena focada no tema (após análise do título e do resumo das 1784 publicações identificadas pela expressão de busca, apenas 31 tratavam diretamente do tema). Por outro lado, observou-se que mais de 90% dessa produção se concentra nas últimas duas décadas, mostrando que apesar de pequena a produção vem acelerando. Além disso, outros resultados obtidos foram as revistas, os autores e as instituições com o maior número de publicações sobre ensino de IC e os países que concentram o maior número de autores dessas publicações.
