Resumo: The organic market and the prices practiced in the main commercialization channels in the city of Goiânia, GO. Organic agriculture began to gain institutional space in the 1980s, due to the search for healthy foods and concern for the environment. In this case, the demand for organic products has increased considerably in recent decades, but the high price of these products means that only a small portion of society has access. That said, the objective of this work is to analyze the market of organic products and the prices practiced in the city of Goiânia, to achieve this purpose, a literature review was carried out, which served as a theoretical foundation and fed the discussion of the results. Data collection took place during the pandemic period in April, through observations and notes. The itinerary included a visit to an organics fair and another to a conventional agricultural products fair, a visit to an organic products store and another to a conventional products store, and finally a survey was conducted in a supermarket of a chain which sells organic products and another visit to a supermarket belonging to another chain that sells conventional products, totaling six visits to six sales channels. The results show that there is a big difference in prices between organic and conventional products, the variation can be greater or less, depending on the sales channel.

Nesse caso, a demanda por produtos orgânicos aumentou consideravelmente nas últimas décadas, mas o preço elevado desses produtos faz com que apenas uma pequena parcela da sociedade tenha acesso. Posto isto, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o mercado de produtos orgânicos e os preços praticados na cidade de Goiânia, para alcançar esse propósito foi realizada uma revisão de literatura que serviu de fundamentação teórica e alimentou a discussão dos resultados. A coleta de dados aconteceu durante o período de pandemia no mês de abril, por meio de observações e anotações. O roteiro incluiu uma visita em uma feira de orgânicos e outra em uma feira de produtos da agricultura convencional, uma visita em uma loja de produtos orgânicos e outra em uma loja de produtos convencionais e por último foi realizada uma pesquisa em um supermercado de uma rede internacional que comercializa orgânicos e outra visita em um supermercado de outra rede que comercializa produtos convencionais, totalizando seis visitas em seis canais de comercialização. Os resultados mostram que existe uma grande diferença de preços entre os produtos orgânicos e convencionais, a variação pode ser maior ou menor, dependo do canal de comercialização.Iheringia.
