Resumo: Introduction: Telemedicine is broadly defined as the use of information andcommunication technologies in healthcare. It is an essential tool during the pandemicperiod as it has the ability to reduce the number of people attending health services,thus also reducing the spread of the virus in an outpatient or hospital environmentand the number of hospital beds occupied by other comorbidities, releasing them toinfected people. Objective: To understand the advantages and disadvantages ofusing telemedicine, through teleservice, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil,from the physician's point of view. Methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional study,carried out through an electronic form prepared in Google Forms online, via the web:WHATSAPP and virtual social networks, by sharing the link. An instrument called“Telehealth and Telecare Questionnaire” was applied. Results: 15 physiciansparticipated in this study, with a mean age of 42 + 2.4 years, 10 men and 5 women.Most doctors work in the clinical area, 15.4% are surgeons, 80% of the participantswork in offices, 46.7% reported the quality of internet access as good, 33.3% have abasic knowledge of computers, 66 .7% were not trained to use the teleconsultationsystem, 53.3% define their level of satisfaction with teleconsultation as average and66.7% agree that it is a way to reduce referrals. Conclusion: The present workmade it possible to identify the advantages and disadvantages inherent to theapplicability of telemedicine, in order to overcome them and improve the teleservicesystem.

É uma ferramenta essencial durante operíodo da pandemia pois tem a capacidade de reduzir o número de pessoasfrequentando os serviços de saúde, dessa forma também se reduz a propagação dovírus em ambiente ambulatorial ou hospitalar e o número de leitos hospitalaresocupados por outras comorbidades liberando-os para as pessoas infectadas.Objetivo: identificar a visão do médico frente ao uso da telemedicina durante apandemia da COVID-19 no Brasil. Métodos: Estudo de caráter descritivo etransversal, realizado por meio de um formulário eletrônico elaborado no GoogleForms online, via web: WHATSAPP e redes sociais virtuais, por meio decompartilhamentos do link. Aplicou-se um instrumento denominado “Questionário de Telessaúde e Teleatendimento”. Resultados: Participaram deste estudo, 15médicos, com idade média 42 + 2,4 anos, sendo 10 homens e 5 mulheres. A maioriados médicos atuam na área clínica, sendo 15,4% cirurgiões, 80% dos participantestrabalham em consultórios, 46,7% relatou a qualidade do acesso a internet comoboa, 33,3% tem um conhecimento básico em informática, 66,7% não tevecapacitação para o uso do sistema de teleconsulta, 53,3% definem seu nível desatisfação com a teleconsulta como média e 66,7% concordam que é uma forma dediminuir os encaminhamentos.
