Agroecology in the educational context of Ceará: adding popular knowledge to education

Resumo: The objective of this article is to promote academic debate about Agroecology in the educational context of Ceará. It aims to foment reflection on environmental education practices in the educational context of Ceará as an intrinsic aspect of agroecology. The methodology used was a systematic literature review built based on bibliographic data; the study presents itself as an encounter contextualized to the theme. built based on bibliographic data, the study appears as a meeting contextualized the theme. Articles registered in the Google Scholar database were used to identify the existence of research on agroecology in the school context, as well as data on consolidated experience of preparation and knowledge from projects undertaken. The analysis of the academic productions found revealed an insignificant amount of work on agroecology in schools in Ceará of 0.30%, showing that this dimension of agroecology in the practice of the school environment is being given little attention in academic activities and curricula. With this, the work presents a discussion on the topic, in order to drive the developments in the academic environment and the construction of a thought to attribute greater appreciation to knowledge as a factor for human, economic, social development and environmental protection.

Su pretensión es fomentar la reflexión sobre las prácticas de educación ambiental en el contexto educativo de Ceará como aspecto intrínseco de la agroecología. La metodología utilizada fue una revisión sistemática de la literatura, construida a partir de datos bibliográficos, el estudio se presenta como un encuentro contextualizado del tema. Se utilizaron artículos registrados en la base de datos Google Scholar para identificar la existencia de investigaciones sobre agroecología en el contexto escolar, así como datos de experiencias consolidadas de preparación y conocimientos de proyectos realizados. El análisis de las producciones académicas encontradas reveló una cantidad de trabajos sobre agroecología en las escuelas de Ceará del 0,30%, mostrando que esta dimensión de la agroecología en la práctica del ambiente escolar está siendo prestada poca atención en las actividades académicas y curriculares. Es urgente, por tanto, estimular la discusión sobre el tema, con el fin de dinamizar los tejidos en el ámbito académico y la construcción de un pensamiento que atribuya una mayor valoración al conocimiento como factor de desarrollo humano, económico, social y de protección ambiental.Este texto tem o objetivo de provocar no âmbito acadêmico o debate acerca da agroecologia no contexto educacional do Ceará. A metodologia utilizada foi uma revisão sistemática de literatura, construída com base em dados bibliográficos, o estudo se apresenta como um encontro contextualizado com a temática. Utilizou-se artigos registrados na base Google Acadêmico para identificar a existência de pesquisas sobre agroecologia no contexto escolar, bem como os dados de experiência consolidada de elaboração e saberes de projetos experienciados.  A partir da análise das produções acadêmicas encontradas constatou-se uma quantidade de trabalhos sobre agroecologia nas escolas no Ceará de 0,30% evidenciando que a essa dimensão da agroecologia na prática do ambiente escolar está sendo dispensada pouca atenção nas atividades e currículos acadêmicos.
