Resumo: | Introduction: Football is considered one of the most popular systems in the world, among others, technical indicators of football are devoid of scientific studies. Their study can identify the favorable and unfavorable characteristics of a team and exploit them for their own benefit, which makes it a tool to be investigated by experts in the field in order to contribute to the evolution of sport. Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the technical variables of ball possession (BP), finalization (FI), certain passes (CP), wrong passes (WP) and disarm (DI) of the teams that won and lost, of each match of the knockout phase of the Champions League, season 2014/2015. Materials and Methods: All 29 matches in the knockout round were analyzed, with 7 games being discarded that ended in a draw in the normal time. Results: We observed that the winning teams showed significant difference (p<0.05) in the indicators BP, FI, and CP. The variables WP (p=0.82) and DI (p=0.32) did not present significant differences comparing the winners and losers of the Champions League. Conclusion: It was concluded that the teams that won showed significant differences in the technical indicators showing better results than the teams that lost. However, the technical variables of wrong passes and disarms did not show differences between the winning and loser teams. |

El estudio de estos permite identificar las características favorables y desfavorables de un equipo y explotarlas en beneficio propio, lo que lo convierte en una herramienta a ser investigada por especialistas en el área, con el fin de contribuir a la evolución del deporte. Objetivo: El objetivo del presente estudio fue comparar los indicadores técnicos de posesión de balón (PB), finalización (FI), pases correctos (PC), pases equivocados (PE) y placajes (DE) de los equipos que ganaron y los equipos que perdió, en cada uno de los partidos de octavos de final de la Champions League, temporada 2014/2015. Materiales y métodos: Se analizaron los 29 partidos de la fase eliminatoria, descartándose 7 partidos que terminaron en empate en el tiempo reglamentario. Resultados: Se observó que los equipos ganadores presentaron diferencia significativa (p<0,05) en los indicadores BP, FI y PC. Las variables PE y DE no presentaron diferencias significativas entre ganadores y perdedores. Conclusión: Se concluyó que los equipos que ganaron presentaron diferencias significativas en los indicadores técnicos mostrando mejores resultados que los equipos que perdieron, sin embargo, las variables técnicas de pases erróneos y desarmas no mostraron diferencias entre los equipos ganadores y perdedores.Introduzione: Il calcio è considerato uno degli sport più popolari al mondo, tuttavia gli indicatori tecnici del calcio mancano negli studi scientifici. Lo studio di questi può identificare le caratteristiche favorevoli e sfavorevoli di una squadra e sfruttarle a proprio vantaggio, il che lo rende uno strumento su cui indagare gli specialisti del settore, per contribuire all'evoluzione dello sport. Obiettivo: L'obiettivo del presente studio era confrontare gli indicatori tecnici di possesso palla (PB), finitura (FI), passaggi giusti (PC), passaggi sbagliati (PE) e contrasti (DE) delle squadre che hanno vinto e delle squadre che ha perso., in ciascuna delle partite degli ottavi di finale di Champions League, stagione 2014/2015. Materiali e modalità: sono state analizzate tutte le 29 partite della fase a eliminazione diretta, 7 partite terminate con un pareggio nei tempi regolamentari sono state scartate. Risultati: è stato osservato che le squadre vincitrici hanno mostrato una differenza significativa (p<0,05) negli indicatori BP, FI e PC. Le variabili PE e DE non presentavano differenze significative rispetto ai vincitori e ai perdenti.
