The importance and the origin of second coalpost in futsal: A case study of the professional team of the Catholic University of Pelotas - UCPel

Resumo: | The present study has the intention of statistically analyzing the number of goals originating from second goalpost moves (which are also known as second post moves or goal); and its secondary objective is to identify the origins of these goals in the professional team of futsal of the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel), which was a participant of the State Futsal Championship 2010. To identify the second goalpost goals, the filming of the matches in which the studied team participated were observed. The variables used to shape the origins of the second goalpost goals were: offensive construction 5x4, offensive construction 4x4, set plays (throw in, corner kicks...) and counterattack. It was observed that, from the total of 13 games of this team that were watched, the players scored 65 goals, and 19 of them were considered second goalpost ones. The team that was being analyzed suffered 40 goals, and 15 of them were considered second goalpost goals. Regarding the origins of the second goalpost goals, 29,4% of the times, the moves started as a counterattack; 29,4%, they started from a 4x4 offensive construction; 20,6%, from a 5x4 offensive construction and 20,6% from a set plays. This study demonstrated that the second goalpost moves are significant in the results of a futsal game. From the observation of the matches it was identified that 33% of the total of analyzed goals were second goalpost ones. This way, we understand that this type of move should receive bigger attention from the technical staffs, both in the offensive actions, as well as in the defensive ones. |

This way, we understand that this type of move should receive bigger attention from the technical staffs, both in the offensive actions, as well as in the defensive ones.El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar cuantitativamente el número de goles provenientes de jugadas desde el 2° poste (también conocidas como jugadas o goles de “2° palo”) y como objetivo secundario identificar los orígenes de estos goles del equipo de fútbol sala profesional de la Universidad Católica de Pelotas (UCPel), participante del Campeonato Estatal de Futsal 2010. Para identificar los goles del 2do poste se observaron las filmaciones de los partidos en los que participó el equipo estudiado. Las variables utilizadas para configurar los orígenes de los goles al segundo poste fueron: construcción ofensiva 5x4, construcción ofensiva 4x4, jugadas a balón parado (flancos, córners...) y contraataque. Se constató que, en el total de 13 partidos observados por el equipo, se convirtieron 65 goles, de los cuales 19 fueron considerados desde el 2° rayo. 40 goles fueron encajados por el equipo analizado, y, de estos, 15 fueron considerados goles desde el 2º poste. En cuanto al origen de los goles desde el 2º poste, en el 29,4% de las ocasiones las jugadas se inician a partir de un contragolpe; en un 29,4%, desde una construcción 4x4 ofensiva; en un 20,6%, de una construcción ofensiva 5x4 y en un 20,6%, parten de una jugada a balón parado. Este estudio demostró que las jugadas del segundo haz son significativas en los resultados de un partido de fútbol sala. A partir de la observación de los juegos, se identificó que el 33% del total de goles analizados fueron del 2° poste. Así, se entiende que este tipo de jugadas deben recibir más atención por parte de las comisiones técnicas, tanto en acciones ofensivas como defensivas.Il presente studio si propone di analizzare quantitativamente il numero di reti provenienti dalle giocate dal 2° palo (dette anche giocate o goal di "2° bastone") e come obiettivo secondario identificare le origini di questi obiettivi della squadra professionistica di futsal del Università Cattolica di Pelotas (UCPel), partecipante del Campionato Statale di Futsal 2010. Per identificare gli obiettivi del 2° post, sono stati osservati i filmati delle partite a cui ha partecipato la squadra studiata. Le variabili utilizzate per configurare le origini dei gol sul 2° palo erano: costruzione offensiva 5x4, costruzione offensiva 4x4, calci piazzati (fianchi, angoli...) e contropiede. Si è riscontrato che, su un totale di 13 partite osservate dalla squadra, sono state trasformate 65 reti, di cui 19 considerate dalla 2a trave. Sono stati 40 i gol subiti dalla squadra analizzata e, di questi, 15 sono stati considerati gol dal 2° palo. Per quanto riguarda le origini dei gol dal 2° palo, nel 29,4% delle volte le giocate sono iniziate in contropiede; nel 29,4%, da una costruzione offensiva 4x4; nel 20,6% da una costruzione offensiva 5x4 e nel 20,6% da calcio piazzato. Questo studio ha dimostrato che le giocate della 2a trave sono significative nei risultati di una partita di futsal. Dall'osservazione delle partite è emerso che il 33% dei goal totali analizzati provenivano dal 2° palo. Resta quindi inteso che questo tipo di gioco dovrebbe ricevere maggiore attenzione da parte delle commissioni tecniche, sia nelle azioni offensive che difensive.O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar quantitativamente o número de gols oriundos de jogadas de 2ª trave (conhecidos também como jogadas ou gols de “2º pau”) e como objetivo secundário identificar as origens desses gols da equipe profissional de futsal da Universidade Católica de Pelotas (UCPel), participante do Campeonato Estadual de Futsal de 2010. Para identificar os gols de 2ª trave, foram observadas as filmagens dos jogos em que a equipe estudada participou. As variáveis utilizadas para configurar as origens dos gols de 2ª trave foram: construção ofensiva 5x4, construção ofensiva 4x4, jogadas de bola parada (laterais, escanteios...) e contra-ataque. Verificou-se que, ao total de 13 partidas observadas da equipe, foram convertidos 65 gols, sendo que 19 foram considerados de 2ª trave. Foram sofridos 40 gols pelaequipe analisada, e, desses, 15 foram considerados gols de 2ª trave. Com relação às origens dos gols de 2ª trave, em 29,4% das vezes, as jogadas são iniciadas a partir de um contra-ataque; em 29,4%, a partir de uma construção ofensiva 4x4; em 20,6%, a partir de uma construção ofensiva 5x4 e em 20,6% são originadas a partir de uma bola parada.
