Resumo: Comics are used for their playful and illustrative character. However, we believe and defend that their potential is beyond that and can make students aware. In this article we demonstrate that comics can be used in a critical and conscientious perspective. We gave a workshop that aimed to publicize the proposal to use comic books based for undergraduates. In this article, we analyze an interaction between undergraduate students and comics in a critical and reflective proposal of use. The results evidenced that there was construction of knowledge from the interaction between them, both in the understanding of the comic strip and in the execution of the proposed activity. With that, we conclude that comics can be used in a critical and conscientious approach, as long as it is associated with a didactic proposal that favors them.

Defendemos que o potencial pedagógico delas está além do lúdico e artísticos podendo levar os alunos a melhor aprendizagem dessa maneira. Neste artigo demonstramos que os quadrinhos podem ser utilizados numa perspectiva crítica e conscientizadora. Ministramos oficina que tinha como objetivo divulgar a proposta de utilização dos quadrinhos críticos para licenciandos. Neste artigo analisamos a interação entre os licenciandos e os quadrinhos numa proposta crítica e reflexiva de utilização. Os resultados mostram evidências de que houve construção de conhecimento a partir da interação entre eles, tanto no entendimento da tirinha quando na execução da atividade proposta.
