Resumo: The author, after making considerations on several theories about the relation Cancer-pregnancy, presentes a case of Mixomatouse Sarcoma of the abdominal wall which bears a dose relation to pregnancy. The Case: In February 1937, at the age of 25 when patient was pregnante for the first time, she complained of sticking pains in an old scar - reliquat of an abcees in her childhood - lacated in the lelt lower quadrante 5 cm. from the umbelicus. In the scar, was a well circumscribed, yellowish, hard nodule about a size of a chest nut. This was surgicaly removed four months later to reapper during her second pregnancy in 1938. From February 1937 to March 1943 she was pregnante five times and she had five recurrencies all om them in a course of a pregnancy. Aware of this relation sue practiced contraception for three years and had no recurrence. "Finally in January 1946 she came to the Clinic stating she probabily was pregnante for the scar had heen itching. In fact the recurreuce was found''. Interesting about this case is that the growth started with a pregnancy and in a period of ten years she had six pregnancies at diferent intervals and all of them were followed by recurrence proven by biopsy. Intersting also is that the tumor does not seem to fall in the group of "DESMOD TUMORES" as it has been described "Spindle-cell Sarcoma with mixomatouse areas Low-grade malignancy in view of few militoses and relatively uniforme aspect of the cells. closing the discussion of the relation Cancer-pregnancy the author would liçe to settle these questions: 1. Should the patients with cancer or the ones who had cancer nurse their children? 2. Should the ones who had cancer of the breast marrie, even after five years cure? 3. If married should they prevent children? If pregnante should they abort? 4. Should X-Rays castration be done routinely in all cases of cancer of the breast?
