Resumo: Este trabalho realiza estudos na área de mercados incompletos quanto ao uso da teoria de superhedging, desenvolvendo uma revisão da literatura que aborda os pré-requisitos matemáticos, estatísticos e financeiros para o uso desse ferramental. Embasado nesses conceitos, analisa-se tipos específicos de mercados incompletos, como o mercado de seguros de automóveis e de seguros de saúde, calculando preços de superhedging para diferentes situações e apresentando a intuição econômica dos resultados obtidos. Discute-se também qual o impacto da regulamentação em mercados incompletos, considerando um contexto de escolha amparada em curvas de utilidade.

Grounded in these concepts, distinct incomplete markets are analyzed, providing the superhedging price for specific contracts and the economic intuition for the results obtained.
