Resumo: Burnout Syndrome is a growing concern in the corporate environment, as the impacts it has on individuals' mental health also causes companies' operational efficiency to decrease. This article aims to study the impacts of Burnout Syndrome, characterized by emotional and physical exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal fulfillment. It explores how these elements affect the routine of organizations, the impacts that must be analyzed and reflected on. Examines the underlying causes of the development of burnout. The research aims to highlight the interaction between individual and organizational factors that manifest in Burnout, highlighting the importance of prevention strategies at both levels. Furthermore, the work analyzes the effects of Burnout Syndrome on companies, as emotional exhaustion can lead to a decline in productivity, which increases absenteeism and reduces employee engagement. It was found that depersonalization negatively affects personal relationships, impairing communication and collaboration, and that a reduction in personal fulfillment leads to creative and innovative exhaustion. Strategies for dealing with Burnout Syndrome in organizations were discussed, including promoting a culture that values ​​work-life balance, creating mental well-being programs, offering training in stress management skills and the implementation of policies that allow greater autonomy and participation of employees in decision-making. The methodology used was applied research, using bibliographic research, with already prepared materials, such as books and scientific articles, seeking broad coverage of the object of study. It is concluded that Burnout Syndrome presents significant challenges for companies, but proactive approaches can mitigate its impacts. Recognizing early signs, adopting preventive measures and creating a healthy work environment are crucial steps to tackling this complex issue and preserving both individual well-being and organizational performance.

Este artigo tem como objetivo investigar os impactos da Síndrome de Burnout, caracterizada pela exaustão emocional e física, despersonalização e redução da realização pessoal. Explora como esses elementos afetam a rotina das organizações, os impactos que devem ser analisados e refletidos. Examina as causas subjacentes ao desenvolvimento do Burnout. A pesquisa visa destacar a interação entre os fatores individuais e organizacionais que manifestam no Burnout, enfatizando a importância de estratégias de prevenção em ambos os níveis. Além disso, o trabalho analisa os reflexos da Síndrome de Burnout nas empresas, pois a exaustão emocional pode levar a um declínio na produtividade, que aumenta o absenteísmo e diminui o engajamento dos funcionários. Detectou-se que a despersonalização afeta negativamente as relações pessoais, prejudicando a comunicação e a colaboração e que, a redução da realização pessoal leva a um esgotamento criativo e inovador. Foram discutidas estratégias para lidar com a Síndrome de Burnout nas organizações, incluindo a promoção de uma cultura que valorize o equilíbrio entre trabalho e vida pessoal, a criação de programas de bem-estar mental, a oferta de treinamentos para habilidades de gerenciamento de estresse e a implementação de políticas que permitam maior autonomia e participação dos funcionários na tomada de decisões. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa aplicada, utilizando-se a pesquisa bibliográfica, com materiais já elaborados, como livros e artigos científicos, buscando uma ampla cobertura do objeto de estudo. Conclui-se que, a Síndrome de Burnout apresenta desafios significativos para as empresas, mas abordagens proativas podem mitigar seus impactos.
