Resumo: The aim of this work is to describe the present proposal of the Full Time School in the State of São Paulo, to investigate and evaluate its implantation in a State Public School in Bertioga city in the year of 2006. It is a descriptive-analytical research of the implantation and Proposal Process of the Full Time School , considering some programs and projects introduced in earlier decades in the State of São Paulo, and other Brazilian States. The data was collected by the analysis of documents related to the proposal and by the observation of a researcher-member who took part in the implantation process of the Full Time School at the investigated school. The results describe the guideline legislation, the philosophic source (origin), general guidelines, curricular organization, working hours, daily teaching methodology, and possibilities and limits of the project in its implantation. Key words: Full Time School, Elementary Education, State Public School.(AU)Este trabalho tem por objetivo descrever a proposta atual de Escola de Tempo Integral no Estado de São Paulo, investigar e avaliar a implantação de uma escola da rede pública estadual da Baixada Santista na cidade de Bertioga-SP, no ano de 2006. Trata-se de pesquisa descritivo-analítica do processo de implantação e da proposta de Escola de Tempo Integral, considerando alguns programas e projetos implantados em décadas anteriores no Estado de São Paulo e em outros estados brasileiros. Os dados foram coletados por meio de análise de documentos referente à proposta e observações realizadas pela pesquisadora, membro participante no processo de implantação da Escola de Tempo Integral na escola investigada. Os resultados descrevem a legislação norteadora, princípios filosóficos, diretrizes gerais, organização curricular, carga horária, práticas e atividades cotidianas, bem como as possibilidades e limites desse projeto em sua implantação.(AU)Made available in DSpace on 2016-08-03T16:15:55Z (GMT).
