Resumo: This work analyzes the inclusion/exclusion of the religious cultural diversity theme in undergraduate teaching courses of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, by means of mapping the curricula available on the universities websites. Aware of the academic rigor, the qu alitative and quantitative methodological approach, with a bibliographical and documentary character, seeks the confrontation between data, evidence, information collected, and the theoretical knowledge already systematized in the area. Among the main considerations it calls the attention the lack of discussion on religious diversity in most of the teaching training courses offered in Santa Catarina. By socializing the results, it is expected to contribute to the initial and continued formation of teachers of Brazil’s Basic Education from a pedagogical approach that studies, researches and reflects upon the Brazilian religious cultural diversity, suppressed any form of proselytism.

A abordagem metodológica quali quantitativa, de cunho bibliográfi co e documental, ciente do rigor acadêmico, busca o confronto entre os dados, as evidências, as informações coletadas e o conhecimento teórico já sistematizado na área. Entre as principais considerações destaca se a ausência da discussão da diversidade rel igiosa na maioria dos cursos de formação de professores em Santa Catarina.
