Camping the language: Ddiscursive practices of streamers from the game Dead By Daylight

Resumo: | The players of the game Dead By Daylight (DBD) enunciate a sociotypical language that produces communicability in a sign chronotope that dialogues with horrific themes. Considering this process, this article presents results of research that aimed to investigate the modes of articulation of the language of discursive practices in the interaction with the DBD game. The corpus is composed of clippings from four streams of the Facebook Gaming platform, totaling 8 samples. The analysis, based on the dialogical conception of the Bakhtin Circle discourse, mobilized concepts such as heterogeneity of language, dialogism and heterodiscourse. The results highlighted some linguistic strategies employed, including acronyms, changes in meaning and the mobilization of linguistic loans between languages. |

Desde este contexto, este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo investigar los modos de articulación del lenguaje que surgen de las prácticas discursivas en la interacción con el juego DBD. El corpus se compone de recortes de cuatro flujos de la plataforma Facebook Gaming, con un total de 8 muestras. El análisis, basado en la concepción dialógica del discurso del Círculo de Bajtin, movilizó conceptos como heterogeneidad del lenguaje, dialogismo, heterodiscurso. Los resultados destacaron algunas estrategias lingüísticas empleadas, incluyendo siglas, cambios de significado y la movilización de préstamos de palabras extranjeras.Os jogadores do game Dead By Daylight (DBD) enunciam uma linguagem sociotípica que produz a comunicabilidade em um espaço-tempo sígnico que dialoga com diversas temáticas horríficas. Considerando esse cenário, este artigo apresenta resultados de pesquisa investigativa sobre os modos de articulação da linguagem advinda de práticas discursivas interacionais com o jogo DBD. O corpus se constitui de recortes de streams de quatro streamers da plataforma Facebook Gaming, totalizando oito amostras. A análise, a partir da concepção dialógica do discurso do Círculo de Bakhtin, mobilizou conceitos como heterogeneidade da linguagem, dialogismo e heterodiscurso.
