Resumo: Mentoring can be used as a strategic and effective resource in programs to support the entrepreneur, but there are still undefinitions in some of its aspects, especially about the conceptualization of the activity. The objective of this work is to present the conceptualization of spot mentoring, identifying its advantages, disadvantages and present its operationalization in a framework. This is an exploratory, qualitative research, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with twelve mentors and twelve protégé. The advantages, disadvantages and operationalization of spot mentoring in the startup universe were identified and may contribute with institutions that enhance entrepreneurship.

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la conceptualización de la Tutoría Spot, identificando sus ventajas y desventajas, además de su operacionalización por medio de un framework. Se trata de una investigación exploratoria, cualitativa, siendo realizadas investigaciones semiestructuradas con doce tutores y doce tutorados. Fueron identificados las ventajas, desventajas y la operacionalización de las Tutorías Spot en el universo de las startups, en la cual pueden contribuir con las instituiciones para la promoción al espíritu empresarial.A mentoria pode ser usada como um recurso estratégico e eficaz, em programas de apoio ao empreendedor, mas ainda há indefinições em alguns dos seus aspectos, especialmente no que tange a conceituação da atividade. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a conceitualização de mentoria spot, identificando suas vantagens e desvantagens, além de sua operacionalização através de um framework. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, qualitativa, sendo realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com doze mentores e doze mentorados.
